1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. "Similar technologies" includes localStorage, sessionStorage, and other client-side storage QInfoNews uses to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences.

2. Categories we use

• Strictly necessary. Authentication tokens issued by Lovable Cloud (Supabase Auth) so you stay signed in. Without these, sign-in cannot work. No consent banner is shown because these are required to deliver the service you requested.
• Functional. Sidebar collapse preference, last-viewed dashboard tab, and similar UI state. Stored locally on your device.
• Analytics (privacy-respecting). Plausible Analytics — aggregated, cookieless, no cross-site tracking, no personal data. We use it to count page views and understand which intelligence rooms are useful.
• No advertising cookies. QInfoNews does not run ads and does not embed third-party advertising or social-media tracking pixels.

3. Third parties

Supabase (Lovable Cloud) for authentication and database. Plausible Analytics for aggregate, cookieless usage statistics. Google Fonts for typography (loaded over HTTPS).

4. How to control cookies

You can clear cookies and local storage from your browser settings at any time. Doing so will sign you out of QInfoNews. Most browsers also let you block third-party cookies entirely.

5. Changes

If we add new categories (for example, video embeds or future marketing tools), we will update this page and, where required, ask for your consent before the new cookies are set.
